LINKS to College Photos & Other Stuff Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society
I was a full-time college student at California State University Stanislaus in Turlock, CA until my graduation in 2007. I was actively involved in academics, philanthropy, community service, governance, Greek life, and social life both on-campus and off-campus. One might ask, aren't you a little old for all this? To this I answer, what would you do differently if you had your entire life to live over again? After raising a family and living a full life, I found myself very ill and permanently disabled. At one point I was told to make my "final arrangements", because I was not expected to live much longer. I had a lot of time to think in those days, and felt if I had my life to live over again, I would go back to school and get the four-year college education I missed in my youth, with all the trimmings, including joining a fraternity, holding office, and making the Dean's List. I also wanted to get a Harley-Davidson motorcycle and ride with bikers and motorcycle enthusiasts on a regular basis. I started feeling better, and when I realized I was not going to die just yet, I started doing all the things I wished I'd done years ago, but never accomplished. I got the chance to live my life over again, and I'm not missing a single minute of it! Check out the links for a closer view of what's went on....
